How to remove your data from Mako.

You are always in control of the data you store in Mako. This page explains every way to delete your data, including data obtained through connected platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram). For full details on what we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in at app.trymako.ai.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. In the Danger zone, use Delete Account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and the personal data associated with it, including stored access tokens for connected platforms.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request", sent from the email address linked to your Mako account. We will verify the request and delete your personal data within 30 days, then confirm by email. Data we are legally required to keep (for example, invoices for tax purposes) is retained only as long as the law requires.

Option 3 — Disconnect a connected platform

If you only want Mako to stop accessing a connected social or advertising account (Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube):

  1. Sign in at app.trymako.ai.
  2. Go to Integrations.
  3. Choose Disconnect next to the platform.

This immediately deletes the stored access token and connected account profile for that platform. You can also revoke Mako's access from the platform's own settings (for Meta: Settings & privacy → Business integrations).

What we delete: your account details, products and uploaded assets, generated creatives, connected-platform tokens and account identifiers, and usage data linked to your account. Content already published to your own social or ad accounts is not affected — it lives in your accounts, not ours.
